Day two: Team Pump Terry Up More

Hello Everyone,

What a beautiful day today! We had an excellent hike up to Humantay Lake today at 14,000ft. Everyone did very well today and are adjusting just fine to the high altitude at Salkentay lodge. Once reaching the lake a few of us took a dip in the the very chilly waters before a ceremony lead by our Andean Shaman friend, Sebastian. We will finish the ceremony in a few hours at the fire pit to burn our offering to Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).

The rest of today’s relaxing activities have involved, horseback riding, massages, wine?, and the jacuzzi. Not a bad afternoon at all!
