Denali 2022: Dude, Where’s My Sled Checks In

“Hey everyone this is Stephen checking in again with Team Dude, Where’s My Sled. We had a great day here, resting at 11. Letting our bodies adjust the altitude for a few hours in the afternoon, kinda getting ready for the next day, so we dug a hole for our cache at 11 and organized loads to carry up the hill tomorrow. So that’s the plan, we’re gonna go up in the morning, have some French toast and then carry a bunch of stuff around Windy Corner and cache around 13 five, and then come back down to camp here. We’re still doing well and nice to get the shoulders and the feet a break from the boots and the packs. We’re all chomping at the bit to get the carry on tomorrow, we’ll let you know how it goes.”

Submission by Jess, Alaska Operations. Julia was clearly on the same wavelength because just a few weeks before, […]
