“Hi everyone this is Kristie, Josh and Sam and Denali Team One. We’re checking in with you from Mount Denali High Camp, 17,000 feet. Today it was too cold and too windy to go to the top, so we didn’t. We just sat around and were kinda productive. We had a few people go down the ridge and get all the rest of our supplies, so now we can stay up here for a real long time if we need to, and everyone else built a wall. Yeah, a big beautiful wall, and you know it should protect us from the wind and it should also protect us from if people start trying to come up from 14 Camp and steal our food. Other than that, all is well, and we’re just kinda hunkered down seeing if it’ll stop being windy for a little bit, and then we’re hoping to climb the mountain. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next day, maybe even the day after that. So we’ll let you know what happens. Good night.”
