Hello everyone,
Today we began our adventure of trekking to the summit of Kilimanjaro. We didn’t actually start hiking but our entire team has arrived safely and with all of their luggage. We did an orientation and gear check before lunch and then heading out on the streets of Arusha for a city tour. After seeing some sights, like the central market, we went out for dinner at a local restaurant for our Welcome dinner. Everyone is feeling good and ready to begin our trek tomorrow! I will be updating the cybercast here daily and we will be coming up with a team name shortly!
