Kilimanjaro Team 3 has chosen a team name and is now known as "Walimu Wazimu" which means "Crazy Teachers" in Swahili. Everyone on the team is a doctor or teacher and a little crazy to be tackling wacky adventures so we decided that the name fit our team. We had a busy orientation day getting ready to climb Kilimanjaro.It started with a thorough orientation followed by a wonderful lunch before doing gear check and sorting our gear. We then took taxis to Pepe’s restaurant for a nice dinner and are now headed off to bed to get some rest. Tomorrow morning we will be transported to the mountain to start our climb.
