Island Peak 2019 – Klimbers Headed Down

Namaste friends, family and loved ones,

Oxygen is good and more is better! We are moving exceedingly well as we head down valley and towards civilization. Warm thick oxygen laden air enters our lungs and fills us with energy. And our appetites seem to be coming back. Though we are certainly feeling stronger, we are impressed by the strength of the porters carrying everything.

Our thoughts remain on our recent climb of Imja Tse or Island Peak. It remains a high point of our time here.

Thinking of you all as we move closer with each step.

All our best, Vern Tejas and the Klimbers
