Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, with our last team of the season, we did an Orientation of the trip and a gear check to make sure everyone is set up for success in climbing to the Roof of Africa. After a city tour of Arusha in the afternoon we had dinner at a local restaurant and then headed to bed early for the last night in a bed for 6 days. We are excited to head out today to the Machame gate where our adventure will begin. Our first hike we will gain about 4,000ft of elevation, taking us around 6 hours and ending at Machame Camp. Following along here where I will be posting our progress.
