Hello and greetings from the Hornli Hutte
We woke up this morning to a heavy thunderstorm with hail at 3:30am. We quickly found ourselves back in our beds. The storm broke mid day and the mountain is starting to dry out.
We rested today and this afternoon previewed the lower part of the route. All our climbers are feeling strong and getting excited to get on the upper part of the mountain.
Tomorrow the forecast is looking good with clear skies and calm winds. We hope to make an attempt tomorrow leaving the hut rigt at 3:50am. (see picture)
Here are some pictures from our team having fun today around the hut.
Wish us luck!
