AAI Lead Guide Jonathon Spitzer checked in from Camp Muir this morning, and sent us this beautiful photo, which looks south across the Tatoosh Range, all the way to Mount Adams (left) and Mount St. Helens (right). Our first 3-Day Rainier climb of the season is happily practicing cramponing, self-arrest, and walked roped up in the sunshine! They intend to move up to Ingraham Flats in a few hours. While practicing, they received a radio call from David Gottlieb, who reported that himself and the route fixing team successfully summitted via the Ingraham Direct.
