Rest day in Dingboche

Hello everyone!

We have had a nice relaxing rest day today here in Dingboche. We slept in a little and had an 8:30 breakfast today before going on an acclimatization hike just above town. Most of us climbed up about a 1,000ft to continue to help our bodies acclimatize, and some decided to rest at the lodge. It’s been a snowy and cloudy day today but a nice time to catch up on sleep, card games, chess, listening to music, talking, and reading! Everyone is doing great with the altitude and adjusting nicely. Tomorrow we will be hiking to Lobuche, which is over 15,000ft and spending one night there before continuing on to the last town, Gorak Shep, before basecamp. We hope all is well back home! Thanks for following along!
