Team 8 is enough back in Arusha

Hello Everyone,

This morning we woke early for our last hike to Mweka gate to finish the climb. We had great weather and a very pleasant hike through the forest/jungle with hardly anyone on the trail except our own mountain crew passing us to get to the gate early for our arrival. As usual the crew had an amazing welcome celebration for us to end a wonderful trip on Kilimanjaro! This was my 39th climb of Kili, and each time I really enjoy sharing this incredible experience with each of our groups. I am looking forward to my 40th climb next week!

But back to this climb and incredible group we had on this 8 day Lemosho trip…. I want to thank this entire team of climbers for a really fun climb and for their willingness to push themselves and stay positive throughout the climb! Below are some photos from the climb. Most of the team will head out in Safari tomorrow, but am sure once they are home will have some great stories to tell about this once in a lifetime experience!

Thanks for following along!
