Hi friends and family,
Today we made an acclimatization hike to an overlook of the south face of Aconcagua. We were excited that the afternoon snow/rain held off long enough for us to have a dramatic view of two-thirds of the south face. We then finished off the day with a excellent pizza dinner after returning to camp! Tomorrow we will make the long hike to Plaza de Mulas, where we will spend several nights acclimating before moving higher up the mountain.
