Team DB 70 Explores Lukla

Friends, family & loved ones, Some clouds today for our day in Namche but not enough to prevent us from going for an acclimatization hike above town. So many things to see: Sagarmatha Next (a conservation organization that is raising consciousness about the local environment through art), the Namche Monastery and Cultural Center and the weekly market. All before lunch! Not to mention some great mountain views despite the clouds. This afternoon we had time to relax at the Panorama Lodge and explore downtown and all that it has to offer. And then, the snow started coming down thick and fast. It’s been snowing for several hours and still accumulating. Beautiful! Check back with us tomorrow for the further adventures of DB 70!
