Team Dream Big 70 Stays in Namche

Friends, family & loved ones, “Flexibility” being our team motto, we made the decision to stay an extra day in Namche today due to the heavy-ish snowfall yesterday and more snow today. Trails in Namche were wet and slippery and it would have been tough going for us to have gone out to Thame.
So instead, we stayed here and had a wonderful day— we walked up to the viewpoint to see the as yet elusive view of Everest. We then visited a traditional Sherpa house and got a sneak peak of the new Everest Museum- not officially open until next month. The exhibits were comprehensive and super interesting.
For those who were interested, we had a knot tying class this afternoon at tea time.
Some of us felt a small earthquake (4.6) and ran for the door when the dining room at the Panorama started shaking. All good now, though. Tomorrow we’re going to head to Khumjung and get back onto our scheduled itinerary. Thanks for following!
