EBC Trek 2019 – Team Khumbu goes to Khumjung!

Namaste friends, family and loved ones,

The rain past in the night but the day dawned clear. We were blessed many times today. So we placed Kata scarves at this trail side shrine. We also paid homage at the newly built nunnery. Many of the nuns here are Tibetan by birth.

As we entered the farm village Khumjung we stopped in to see the Hillary School. Sir Edmund is a big hero here and his statue is always adorned with many Kata scarves.

The team is acclimatizing well do we will continue on to Tangboche tomorrow. We are thinking of you!

All our best,Carole & Vern Tejas and Team Khumbu
