Team Lucky Mule Shoe Hikes To Plaza de Mulas
The entire team made the hike up to 14,400 feet and we have settled into Plaza de Mulas, where we plan to spend several days resting and making acclimatization hikes. We enjoyed great weather and great views today! We will take a rest day in camp tomorrow.
The draw of the lucky mule shoe appears to grow stronger as we near the higher slopes of the mountain. Transfer of possession of the mule shoe has been postponed until tomorrow but the fellowship of the mule shoe has confidence that the shoe will continue to journey up the mountain. We are though including a photo of our consternation at the lack of a mule shoe transfer ceremony.
