Welcome to Alpine Ascent’s Everest base camp trek and climb of Island Peak.
Everyone arrived safely and all their bags did too. So we set out early today to explore some the scenic wonders of Nepal. First stop, the Monkey Temple. After circumambulating this landmark stupa and spinning the prayer wheels we visited one of the largest Stupas in all of Asia, the impressively immense Boudhanath Stupa.
Then we met Hindu holy men on the banks of the Bagmati River. Blessed souls! Then it was time to get back to work as we checked and repacked our duffel bags.
We get up early tomorrow to fly up into the mountains. Everyone is excited and in great spirits. Come and join us for the trek of a lifetime.
