Despite our best efforts (including a 05.15 start for the first helicopter team), flyable weather did not appear in our cards today.
We did take a journey out to the neighboring (and gated) mine administrative town of Kuala Kencana for lunch and a walking tour, as well as stops at the local mall for shopping and at the immigration offices for a climbing permit.
Here’s hoping for flyable weather tomorrow…
