Kilimanjaro: Team Walimu Wazimu Celebrates Summit Success

Team Walimu Wazimu returned to the Arusha Hotel this afternoon. We were eager to take showers and get cleaned up before heading out to a restaurant for our final team celebration dinner. The 9 Day Lemosho Route on Kilimanjaro was an amazing experience and we are grateful to our gracious and hard working Tanzanian crew. Highlights include a beautiful summit day, camping in the crater after summiting, checking out the "ash pit", learning from our Tanzanian crew and seeing lots of flora and fauna including seeing Colubus and Blue monkeys. Our Kilimanjaro trip is now over and the team will start traveling in different directions tomorrow but the friendships and memories will remain. Thanks for following our journey.
