The Eagles Touch the Nest – The Dirty Dozen Team are finally in Plaza Argentina

The Dirty Dozen team has arrived today at the Plaza Argentina base camp at 4200 meters. The group has done very well working as a team and having fun. We began our morning with a river crossing on mules!!! Yes, the "Arrieros" (muleteers) helped us cross the Vacas River and start our new path through the Valle de los Relinchos. The weather has been very good, not so hot and in the final part we had some stronger gusts of wind, very usual in Plaza Argentina. The team is already enjoying the services and infrastructure of the base camp to recover energy before our ascent to the high camps. Our base camp cook is planning to prepare a pizza party!! Thank you for following the progress of our expedition!!
