Hello & Namaste Everyone,
This is the Private Denali team June 15th “Peraponken Peak Patrol”, delighted to announce that we have officially started our expedition on Mt Denali/ McKinley.
The day kicked off by gathering all the climbers at Alpine Ascents hangar doing introduction, orientation, gear checks and skills review. We are all set and ready to fly in to the mountain tomorrow. First day ended with the Welcome dinner in downtown Talkeetna.
We will attend our National Park Service briefing in the morning and schedule to fly in to the glacier in the afternoon, weather permitting.
We are all excited and can’t wait to be on the mountain. Thanks in advance for following us on this journey to the highest peak on North America. We will keep it posted along the way with pictures for our families, friends and loved ones back home.
