Everest Base Camp Trek Team 2 gets a Team Name!

Namaste friends, family and loved ones,

We got up really early and went to the airport in hopes of flying before the clouds moved in. There were several delays but we persevered and we had a late breakfast in the market town of Lukla.
Then we saddeled up our packs and headed out onto the trail to Everest base camp. On the way out of town we stopped under the Passang Lamu memorial gate to take a photo.

She was the first Nepali woman to climb Everest and is considered a national hero.
Tomorrow we plan to trek up the Dhud Kosi river valley for Namche Bazar. Please join us!

We changed our name from March 24 Team to Khumbu Khrü!

All our best,Carole & Vern Tejas
