Everest Basecamp Trek – The Khumbu Khrü Klimbs to Namche Bazar

Namaste Friends, Family & Loved Ones,

The fierce thunderstorm late last night cleared out the clouds and we woke up to blue skies and a beautiful day. Such a pleasure to be trekking through the Khumbu in the springtime as the trees are in bloom and the greenery is approaching its peak.

After crossing a couple of suspension bridges spanning the Dudh Kosi River in the morning, we entered the Sagarmatha National Park after lunch and climbed up to the town of Namche Bazar, at 11,300 feet.

We arrived in time to shower and relax in the luxury of the Panorama Hotel before dinner.

The Team is doing really well and feeling great so far, so we’re really looking forward to our day in Namche tomorrow.
