The Magnificent Seven Reaches the Top of Africa!

Jambo friends family and loved ones! This is Vern Tejas reporting in for The Magnificent Seven. We all stood on top of the highest point in Africa today! It was such a wonderful view to see the morning sun rising as we approached the summit. I wish you could’ve been there. Since then we’ve now dropped all the way down to the Mweka camp which is about 10,000 feet, so we’ve dropped 9000 feet today after climbing up four or five thousand feet. So it’s been an up and down day, mainly down, and we’re all very pleasantly beseiged over. We’re going to bed early tonight and we’re gonna get up early tomorrow and head to the gate. So please standby for transmissions of photographs, they should be coming this Tuesday when we get reception back, when we get down to the gate. So thank you very much for following along. Photos to follow. Ciao for now. Night night. Lala Salama.
