Lead guide Pat Timson called to check in from the May 26th 10-day course. The group is on a bit further east in the Cascades and is benefiting from somewhat drier conditions than we’re getting on Mt. Rainier this week. The team is all doing really well, having fun, and learning a lot. They will be spending another 2 days in the field before returning to Seattle for the night. They will have the chance to change out gear as needed, sleep in a bed! and then will head to Rainier for a summit attempt on the Kautz route.
