8/2 Emmons Climb Summits!

Very long, circuitous route today on the Emmons glacier.  8 hours of struggling against a stiff breeze and crossing dozens of crevasse bridges required both physical and mental stamina.  Our team did great to stand on the summit of Mount Rainier at about 8am, and after fighting our way back down to high camp I’m happy to report everyone is back safe and excited for a big dinner.
