After starting the day with a delicious breakfast the Team strolled up to Camp 1 to cache some gear

Hello, this is Jonathan Spitzer with Ama Dablam Expedition. Today is November 1st, it’s about 8:30 here, Ama Dablam Base Camp time. Today we woke up, we had, ya know typical Base Camp food, which was eggs, this awesome homemade porridge oatmeal, along with toast.

And then once we got ready, we strolled and went for a little walk all the way up towards Camp 1. We cached our climbing gear up just below Camp 1.
We’re back down at Base Camp this evening and just finished having a really good meal down here. Tomorrow we’re just going to see what happens with either the weather and what we want to do. But we might move up and sleep at Camp 1.

And we’re looking at making our summit attempt between the 6th and the 9th of November. But still as of yet, nobody has summited Ama Dablam and the Sherpa fixing crew is hoping to get the rope all the way to the top around the 3rd or 4th of November.

Thanks for following our cybercast and we’ll keep you guys posted. Bye.
