The Team continues to acclimatize under beautiful clear skies with light breezes just below Camp 1

Hi, this is Jonathan Spitzer with Ama Dablam Expedition. Today is November 2nd and we moved up to .75 Camp; so we’re just a little bit below Camp 1. We’re at about 5400 meters, which is about 17,800 feet. It took us only about three and a half-four hours to get up here today. We had clear skies and a beautiful view of the Himalayan Range with a little light breeze to help keep us a little brisk as we moved up.

Tomorrow we’re going to head up to Camp 1, which is about 5800 meters. We’re going to spend the night there and do some skills as we work our way towards the yellow tower and back.

So still hoping to hear if the Sherpas have fixed to the summit but as of yet, there’s still no word if the summit ridge has been done with the fixed ropes.

We’re doing great here and having a lot of fun on this trip and experiencing the Sherpa culture to the fullest extent.

That’s it for now and thanks for following.
