Chocolate bonbons to end the day for The Seven Guanacos after their move up to High Camp

Hi, this is Matthew Emht reporting for The Seven Guanacos. Today is Sunday, December 29th.

The Team has moved to High Camp; we are at 20,600 feet right now. We’ve got the tents all set up, we’re dug in, and we’re starting to melt snow for water. We’re going to make a pretty simple dinner tonight, ramen and some mashed potatoes, maybe couscous, a little instant soup, and maybe a couple chocolate bonbons if the crew’s lucky.

Anyway, we’re hoping to head for the summit tomorrow. The winds are pretty manageable, a couple light gusts, but nothing that we can’t handle.
Everybody once again is doing well, relaxing and looking forward to our summit bid tomorrow.

Thanks a lot for listening.
