Team Be Like Bamboo moves smoothly up to Camp 1 with good appetites and spirits

Today we moved up to Camp 1 (at 15,500 feet) and it was a beautiful day. And everyone did extremely well.

We had rice and stir fried vegetables for dinner tonight and then had some peaches and chocolate for dessert. Actually in the afternoon we had quite a bit of appetizers and soup as well. People have good appetites and everyone’s in really good spirits and looking forward to a little carry tomorrow. Tomorrow we’re going to carry loads up to Amagino Col.

And that’s it for Team Be Like Bamboo for now. So Brian, signing out and stay tuned for more cybercasts.
