August 17th Machame team Summits Kilimanjaro

Hello Everyone,

We have had an incredible week on Kilimanjaro and another 100% success on the summit yesterday!  (Due to a technical issue I was not able to send posts here and apologize!).  The team is now back in Arusha enjoying showers and some time relaxing before our celebration dinner this evening.  This week was filled with positivity from the team and Tanzanian crew and we had perfect weather this week only getting a tiny bit of rain as we made our final descent early this morning to Mweka gate.  We once again managed to hardly see anyone on the mountain (besides our crew) for most of our hiking days, by adjusting our departure times in one of the busiest months on Kilimanjaro.  Thanks to this incredible team and our Tanzanian crew for an incredible trip and season!  See you in January!

Thanks for following along,

Ben Jones
