Flexible Assenders in Pangboche and KTM

Namaste friends, family & loved ones, High altitude is a thing of the past! Today, all of the Assenders have descended back to the thicker air of low(er) elevations— 8 have flown back in Kathmandu (no doubt enjoying hot showers and all that civilization has to offer) and the remaining trekking stalwarts are in Pangboche for the night. For those of us still on the trail, we had clear but very windy weather for the trek from Lobuche down to Dingboche, where we had a walk through town and a fancy lunch at the French Bakery. A short 2 hour walk later, we arrived in Pangboche for the night. Things look and feel a lot greener and warmer down here at just over 13,000 feet. Tomorrow, it’s onward to Namche!
