Rest day in Namche

Hello Everyone, Today we had a rest and acclimatization day in Namche which is always nice. After breakfast we climbed about 1,200ft for a potential Everest view but unfortunately clouds were covering most of the high peaks. This didn’t affect the team’s spirits though and we will also have many more opportunities in the coming days to get great views of Everest. In the afternoon we headed down to Namche and did a little shopping and hanging out at the Sherpa Barista cafe. We are having dinner soon and then heading off to bed. Tomorrow we head to Thame, a village famous for many climbing Sherpas and home to Lakpa Rita, Kami Rita, and Apa Sherpa. The team is doing great and looking forward to heading further up the valley and off the beaten path from most of the trekking groups. Talk to you tomorrow! Ben
