Mt. Shuksan climb

Pat, Jeff, and I are on our way to climb Mount Shuksan’s Fisher Chimneys route. Today we enjoyed  a lovely hike from the trailhead near the Mount Baker ski area, past the still frozen Lake Ann, to our bivouac site on the edge of the Lower Curtis Glacier. It is incredible how dramatic the scenery here on Mount Shuksan is! We spent the afternoon snacking on chocolate, soaking in the alpine sun, and listening to the crash of ice calving off the upper Curtis Glacier. What a wonderful place to spend he night! We are fired up to climb tomorrow. -Eitan
