Team 7 Arrives in Arusha!

Hello everyone,

This is Ben reporting in for Kilimanjaro team #7. Everyone has arrived safely here in Arusha, and everyone has arrived with all of their luggage! Today we had an orientation on the climb and a thorough gear check here at our hotel. After a town tour and some time to relax a bit, we went out for our first team dinner at an excellent local restaurant. We have now just arrived back to our hotel and are all heading off to bed to sleep in beds one last night for the next week. Tomorrow morning we will head out to the mountain to Machame gate where we will begin our adventure climbing to the "Roof of Africa". We will begin our hike in the jungle and hike up to our first camp tomorrow night at around 10,000ft just on the edge of the jungle and the moorland.

We are all excited to begin the trip and look forward to coming up with a team name in the next day!

Thanks for following along, and I will call in tomorrow once we arrive to camp. Good night from Africa for now.

Ben
