June 19 Muir Climb: Day Two

Woke up to sunshine this morning and enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Now we’re getting “snow schooled” – learning the art of walking in crampons and ice axe self arrest. Our team was able to summit this morning with the rising sun, as well as some very strong winds. We were able to snap one photo before we promptly descended out of the frigid wind. All team members are safely back to civilization and in great spirits!
