TAPS completes Salkantay Trek!

Hola friends, family and loved ones!

Five fun filled days of trekking got us over the 15,000 foot sacred Salkantay Pass. Along our way we visited Humantay Lake, Salkantay Mountain 🏔 and a coffee plantation.

Our team and local staff in Soray Pampa

From here we climb the terminal moraine of Humantay Glacier to take in the view.

Lakeside with Mount Humantay !

Then the trek began in ernest with clouds moving up the valley to swallow us up.

A very cloudy pass could not dampen our spirit

And we finished off the day with a celebration!

Cake and hot cocoa, what more could one want! The team has pulled together and is very supportive. Members are growing each day and enjoying the process.

All our best,Carolina & Vern Tejas
