Everest Base Camp Trek acclimatizes!

Namaste, friends, family and loved ones.

Today we got up early to catch sunrise on Everest. A few hundred feet above our teahouse is a statue commemorating Tenzing Norgay’s climb to the top of the world. It was spectacular.

After breakfast and a bit of hiking, we found another great view of Everest.

We paid a visit to the Hillary school as well as the Khunde hospital. The market that Namche Bazaar is famous for was in full swing when we returned. Tomorrow we trek to the Tangbochè Monastery. Come join the fun!

All our best,
Carole and Vern Tejas
